Psychic Artwork

My artwork is best termed as aura art, and is a form of psychic art, similar in format to that of an auragraph which can indicate both emotional and physical situations occurring with you. With the inference of the aura being strongly associated with this type of drawing, it can notĀ foretell future events, though it may be ued to help you attain a better understanding of your emotional and physical situations and thus help you to form your own course of action. There are a number of symbolic elements within this drawing, the most notable being the moons and the tree.

The overall theme of the drawing is that of the mind, noted here by the amount of yellow in the sky suggesting that a lot of mental activity, worrying thoughts, further emphasised by the blackness of the ground.

The mountains themselves represent obstacles, which are placed within the physical aspects of the drawing, suggesting the person perceives there are insurmountable obstacles in their way.

The moons represent changes in the persons attitude, at times bright and to the fore, at others swathed in a mild depression.

The tree is representative of the person for whom the drawing has been compiled and indicates that they are fighting against the situations occurring around them. They are either unwilling to or chose not to see their way out, they are in essence the centre of attention.

So how do they come about?

When the impulse to do a drawing is strong, I go to my studio to get myself ready for what could be anywhere from 2 to 4 drawings in a session. The only thing that I am aware of is the colour of pastel paper to use for the drawing and the first colour to be employed.

I always start with the sky as this will logically form the backdrop for what is to be drawn onto or over it, as such items in the distance, representative of past issues are always drawn first, items in the foreground complete the drawing.

I am never shown the image of what I am about to draw, for this would undoubtedly preclude from the finished article. This coupled with the factor of having not undertaken any art training would, if I were to glimpse what was to be drawn, I would in all honesty fall at the first hurdle in trying to reproduce it. Therefore the subtle psychic influnces come about without my conscious awareness being involved, I merely move the desired pastel over the paper, often puzzled at why a certain colour is being imployed or why I am being influenced to draw in a certain manner, it all comes right in the end.
